Days of Kazakh Medicine in Tajikistan: Isamdun Kharamov Presented the Advanced Expertise of the Aksay University Clinic in Treating Complex Orthopaedic Conditions in Children
As part of the Days of Kazakh Medicine in the Republic of Tajikistan, Isamdun Kaudunovich Kharamov – Candidate of Medical Sciences, paediatric orthopaedic trauma surgeon of the highest qualification category, and Head of the Orthopaedics Department at KazNMU’s Aksay University Clinic – presented Kazakhstan’s advanced expertise in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of complex musculoskeletal disorders in children.
The visit programme combined clinical practice, professional exchange, and the training of medical specialists. Isamdun Kharamov consulted patients in the Paediatric Trauma and Orthopaedics Department of the Shifobakhsh National Medical Centre, reviewed complex clinical cases together with Tajik colleagues, and participated in foot surgery and scoliosis correction procedures in children.
The treatment of each child required exceptional surgical precision, sound clinical judgement, and an individualised approach. Drawing on his many years of experience at the Aksay University Clinic, the specialist was able not only to determine the optimal treatment strategy for each patient but also to demonstrate modern methods of paediatric orthopaedic surgery to his colleagues. Particular attention was paid to patient safety, meticulous surgical planning, and achieving the best possible functional outcome.

At a meeting of the Society of Traumatologists of the Republic of Tajikistan, Isamdun Kharamov presented the Aksay University Clinic’s experience in treating complex orthopaedic conditions in children.
