KazNMU Holds the Preventive Forum “Conscious Generation — Healthy Society”

On October 9, 2026, the “Concordia” Theatre at S. D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University hosted the preventive forum “Conscious Generation — Healthy Society” as part of the “Law and Order” initiative. Organized by the Center for Educational Work and Student Initiatives, the event aimed to enhance students’ legal awareness and strengthen their safety.

Police Majors Zarina Beisenova, Sulushash Dosbolova, and Aigerim Kulasbekova addressed the prevention of juvenile delinquency, drug addiction, and violence.

Adil Dosanov, Chair of the Council of Veterans of the Anti-Corruption Service, spoke about integrity and legal responsibility. Zhanna Kantarbayeva, Senior Lecturer at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, discussed the prevention of religious extremism and terrorism. Sanzhar Tursinmetov, Chief Physician of the “Renewal Rehab” Rehabilitation Center and a psychiatrist specializing in addiction medicine, provided information on the effects of psychotropic substances on mental health.

Students watched preventive videos, asked the experts questions, and received practical advice. Video interviews with the speakers were also recorded as part of the forum. At the conclusion of the event, the guests were presented with letters of appreciation on behalf of the university.
