On May 21–22, 2026, the Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University will host the international forum “ANaMed Forum – New Generation 2026,” held under the theme “AI-Driven Personalization: Medicine & Education.” The forum will serve as a large-scale international platform for discussing contemporary approaches to the development of personalized medicine and medical education through the integration of artificial intelligence technologies.
The primary objective of the forum is to promote the exchange of advanced scientific ideas, practical experience, and international best practices, as well as to strengthen interdisciplinary and international cooperation in the implementation of AI technologies in healthcare and education.
The forum will bring together scientists, physicians, researchers, educators, and young professionals from Kazakhstan, the United States, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Spain, China, Türkiye, Russia, Germany, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Japan, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Poland, France, Georgia, Denmark, Bulgaria, and Iran.
The scientific program covers a broad range of clinical, research, and educational areas. Particular attention will be given to the implementation of AI algorithms in clinical practice, the development of digital clinical decision-support platforms, personalized educational pathways, and modern approaches in oncology, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, surgery, and other medical disciplines.
The forum agenda includes 17 thematic sections, two roundtable discussions, and four satellite events. Presentations will be delivered in Kazakh, Russian, and English. The Organizing Committee has received 1,221 abstracts. The official abstract proceedings are currently being prepared for publication and have already been assigned an International Standard Book Number (ISBN).
As part of the forum’s exhibition program, the best projects from the “ANaMed AI Challenge” Hackathon, dedicated to the development of innovative AI solutions for healthcare and medical education, will be presented. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their projects to the expert community, discuss their practical implementation potential, receive professional feedback, and explore further pathways for refinement, pilot testing, and possible commercialization.
A separate key event of the forum will be the Commercialization Reactor, organized in collaboration with Science Fund JSC. This dialogue platform will focus on the promotion of medical technologies, the development of scientific startups, and the translation of research outcomes into healthcare practice. Discussions will address promising projects, mechanisms for project support, partnership development, and strategies for market entry. Competitions with prize funds and support programs for promising scientific and educational initiatives will also be available for young researchers.
“ANaMed Forum – New Generation 2026” is expected to become an important international platform for professional dialogue, knowledge exchange, and the establishment of new scientific and educational partnerships.
