“Asfendiyarov Readings” on the topic: “S.D. Asfendiyarov – the First Rector and Founder of KazNMU”

The S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University invites you to participate in the international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the birthday anniversary of the first rector of Kazakhstan’s medical university — the “Asfendiyarov Readings” on the topic:

“S.D. Asfendiyarov – the First Rector and Founder of KazNMU,” which will be held on October 14, 2026. The conference will be attended by faculty members and students of KazNMU, as well as representatives of universities from other countries.

The purpose of the conference is to highlight the life and activities of the outstanding statesman and public figure, historian, and professor S.D. Asfendiyarov, as well as to promote and disseminate knowledge about his scholarly works.

Conference focus: The socio-political activities of Sanzhar Asfendiyarov, based on newly published research.

Format of the Conference:

• Hybrid format (in-person/online);
• Presentation time: 5–7 minutes;
• Working languages: Kazakh, Russian, and English.

Date and Time: October 14, 2026, 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Venue: 94 Tole Bi Street, Almaty, S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University, Academic Building No. 7, Room 2.
