Programme of Academic Mobility within the framework of the Erasmus+
Programme
The Academic Mobility Program for Teaching Staff within the framework of the ERASMUS+ Programme (KA171-2025-2028) has been developed on the basis of the mutual cooperation agreement between NJSC “Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University” and the Medical University of Lublin (Poland).
The aim of this Program is to implement the internationalization strategy of the partner universities through academic mobility focused on knowledge and skills transfer, promotion of joint research projects aimed at obtaining new biologically active substances and improving pharmaceutical manufacturing technologies, as well as enhancing the professional qualifications of academic and teaching staff.
The Program is also aimed at continuing cooperation in the field of preparation of joint projects and strengthening collaboration between the departments and laboratories of both universities within the framework of scientific cooperation.
This Program includes an expedition and round tables aimed at developing participants’ scientific and practical skills, including:
- Round Table №1: “Development of New Formulations Based on Plant-Derived Compounds for Application in the Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Industries”
- Round Table №2: “Plant-Derived Compounds as Antimicrobials and Prebiotics: Their Significance in Applied Research”
The implementation of the academic mobility program for teaching staff within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme will contribute to the development of international relations between partner universities and facilitate the effective application of training outcomes and research results in practice.
The international experience, knowledge, and scientific potential of the academic staff of the Medical University of Lublin (Poland) and the School of Pharmacy of Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University will be utilized for the implementation of the Program.
The planned meeting within the framework of the program will be attended by coordinators from the Medical University of Lublin — Professor Anna Malm and Professor Izabela Korona-Glowniak, as well as the coordinator from KazNMU — Dean of the School of Pharmacy, Professor Sakipova Zuriyadda Bektemirovna. The meeting moderators will be Kulmanbetov Ruslan Isatayevich, Head of the Department of Orthodontics, Associate Professor without academic title, and Rakhimova Nargiz Akhmetzhanovna, Аssistant of the Department of Pharmacognosy with a Course in Botany.

Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (KazNMU), founded in 1930, is the leading specialized medical university in Kazakhstan. Currently, more than 10,000 students study at the university. The structure of the university includes schools and faculties in the following areas: “General Medicine,” “Pediatrics,” “Dentistry,” “Public Health,” and “Pharmacy.”
The university has 4 own university clinics, 5 research institutes and centers, and actively cooperates with 147 clinical training bases, where students undergo practical training.
