“Clinical Neurology: Innovations in Diagnosis and Treatment”
On October 23–24, 2025, the international scientific and practical conference “Clinical Neurology: Innovations in Diagnosis and Treatment” was held in the city of Aktobe. The event was organized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the West Kazakhstan Marat Ospanov Medical University, and the Association of Neurologists of Western Kazakhstan.
Leading specialists from Kazakhstan, Russia, Poland, and other countries took part in the conference. The scientific program included plenary and breakout sessions devoted to current aspects of the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of neurological diseases.
The Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov was represented by Dr. (PhD) K.K. Almakhanova, Associate Professor (Docent) of the Department of Nervous Diseases. Within the framework of the conference, Dr. Almakhanova delivered presentations on current issues in clinical neurology, particularly pain syndromes in neurology and demyelinating diseases of the central nervous system, sharing scientific and practical experience through the discussion of clinical cases.
Her presentations generated great interest among the participants and became a topic of professional discussion. The high scientific level of the presented materials and their practical relevance for the neurological service of the Republic of Kazakhstan were noted.
The participation of a representative from S.D. Asfendiyarov KazNMU in the international conference highlights the university’s strong scientific potential and its active contribution to the development of both national and global neurology.
