Literary-musical evening » Bridge of friendship: Kazakhstan-India» devoted to creation of Abay Kunanbayev and Rabindranath Tagore was held by the Ethical Council, the Dean office of the faculty of foreign students, Department of the Russian language under the state program of trilingualism on the 25 March of 2016.
The Chairman of the Ethics Council professor Mustafina J. G., Dean of the faculty of foreign students accosiative professor Bulygin, K. A., the representative of the Consulate of India in Kazakhstan Dr. Kumar gave with a welcoming speech.
First-year students of the General Medicine faculty of the English and Kazakh departaments made presentations about Abay Kunanbayev and Rabindranath Tagore and told about the great poets in English; read poems and sang songs of Tagore and Abai in Kazakh, Russian, Hindi and English, performed national dances.
The Indian cultural center and the library of KazNMU presented Souvenirs and a book exhibition.
The perfect end of the evening was a performance of a song about Kazakhstan in Russian by Kazakh and Indian students.
