Open Day at the Almaty City Branch of the National Center of Expertise
On September 4, 2026, an Open Day was held at the Almaty City Branch of the National Center of Expertise under the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event aimed to familiarize students with the activities of the National Center of Expertise, its main areas of work, laboratory operations, modern laboratory research methods, and professional development opportunities in the field of sanitary and epidemiological well-being.
The event was attended by 5th-year students of the Public Health educational program (groups KDS22-002 and KDS22-003) and faculty members of the Department of Public Health.
As part of the event, the participants visited the branch laboratories and became familiar with modern laboratory equipment and research methods. They also met with specialists from the branch and learned about professional activities and career opportunities in the field of laboratory research.
The students had the opportunity to ask questions of interest and receive answers from specialists.
The event was attended by Associate Professors G.A. Begimbetova and A.K. Tekmanova, as well as N.Zh. Darmen, a lecturer responsible for industrial internship.
Participation in the Open Day provided students with an opportunity to expand their understanding of professional activities in the field of sanitary and epidemiological well-being and to connect their theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
