ALA FORUM HEPATOLOGY — II International scientific and practical conference “Interdisciplinary management of liver diseases”
On April 24, 2026, the Department of Internal Medicine of S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University, jointly with the Scientific and Practical Society of Gastroenterologists of Almaty, will hold the II International Scientific and Practical Conference “Interdisciplinary Management of Liver Diseases”
The purpose of the event is to improve the professional level of healthcare providers involved in the care of patients with liver and hepatobiliary diseases, based on modern achievements in medical science and practice, principles of evidence-based medicine, and a multidisciplinary approach.

The conference program includes a plenary session and sectional meetings in the following areas:
– management of pregnancy in liver diseases;
– liver and metabolic syndrome;
– liver damage in infectious diseases;
– modern laboratory diagnostics of liver and gastrointestinal diseases.
Leading national experts, as well as scientists from the Russian Federation and India, will выступ as speakers at the conference.
The conference invites gastroenterologists, hepatologists, infectious disease specialists, general practitioners, internists, endocrinologists, surgeons, oncologists, endoscopists, radiology specialists, obstetricians-gynecologists, as well as staff of research institutes, scientific centers, and medical universities.
As part of the conference, a poster presentation competition titled “Innovations in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Patients with Gastrointestinal Diseases” will be held. Practicing physicians, medical university faculty, researchers, and trainees in internship, residency, master’s, and PhD programs are eligible to participate

– up to 200 participants in offline format;
– up to 1500 participants online.
