Results of the essay contest «Сorruption is a disease of society»
Organized by the Department of educational work and the Student Club “Sanaly Urpak” from March 28 to April 20, 2024, an essay competition “Сorruption is a disease of society” was held among university students (hereinafter referred to as the competition). The purpose of the competition is to increase the anti – corruption culture of students and the university, to develop an active civic position in the field of combating corruption. The competition was attended by 32 students.
According to the terms of the competition, creative works written in Kazakh, Russian and English were considered by a specially created Commission. Summing up the results of the competition, the commission noted that young people are interested in the future of the country, and since today is the foundation of the future, they strive to identify and find solutions to the most pressing problems of modern public life.
However, the members of the commission found that only those runners who failed the test in three languages-Kazakh, Russian, and English-deserved victory. Students who competed and participated were awarded certificates of participation.

The members of the commission reviewed these works on the terms and conditions of the competition and evaluation criteria. As part of the said commission:

- Isaeva Zhanar Tursunbaevna, associate professor of the Department of Kazakh language, language disciplines;
- Sultanova Nazgul Totanovna, assistant of the Department of English, language disciplines;
- Turapbekova Sania Sabirovna, lecturer of the Department of Russian language, language disciplines;
We express our gratitude to the members of the commission who contributed to the analysis and evaluation of the competition work.
Each work was evaluated according to such criteria as the reflection of an individual approach, the logic and imagery of the statement of thought, the depth of thought and the disclosure of the topic that determines the content of the essay, the quality of the written language, research, the validity and independence of concepts, literacy (spelling, punctuation, stylistic errors).
