«Asfen Team» — Silver at the IV International Olympiad in Morphological and Fundamental Disciplines in Bishkek

On May 14, 2026, the IV International Olympiad in Morphological and Fundamental Disciplines was held at the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I.K. Akhunbaev (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan). The «Asfen Team», composed of 2nd and 3rd year students of the School of Pediatrics at KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, took part in the competition. Our team demonstrated a high level of preparation, professional knowledge and team spirit, earning an honorable 2nd place in the overall team standings. Students from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation participated in the intellectual competition. The Olympiad program was rich and eventful, featuring creative video presentations from the teams as well as a blitz round covering fundamental disciplines.
